Membership, responsibilities and service terms
Clear terms for a professional hiring environment.
These terms explain the membership offer, expected conduct, responsibilities when handling candidate information, and the rules for using Jobkar Workspace as a connected hiring platform.
Terms of use
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Section 01
1. Agreement and service scope
These terms govern access to Jobkar Workspace, including public information pages and available account features. The product can include company profiles, job listings, candidate discovery, applications, professional profiles, messaging, recruiter collaboration, notifications and support tools. Specific screens and actions may depend on your account role, permissions and feature availability.
By creating an account or using an account-only feature, you agree to these terms and the linked Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice. If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using the relevant feature.
Section 02
2. Accounts, eligibility and account security
Provide accurate, current information during registration and keep account information updated. You must be authorised to act for a company or organisation when you create or manage its profile, post openings or communicate on its behalf. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your authority, share access to bypass role controls or create accounts for deceptive purposes.
You are responsible for protecting authentication methods and activity carried out through your account. Keep passwords, one-time codes, tokens and recovery details confidential. If you suspect unauthorised access, stop using the affected session and contact support promptly.
Section 03
3. Included membership: first 12 months at ₹0
Registration includes twelve (12) months of Jobkar Workspace membership at no membership charge for new Workspace accounts under this offer. The included period begins on successful registration unless the registration screen or account interface expressly shows a different activation date. It provides access to the current Workspace feature set, subject to the account role, permissions, service availability and applicable product rules.
There are no hidden membership charges during the included 12-month period. The included membership is not a promise that every future feature, third-party service or product expansion will remain free forever. Any limitations that materially affect the offer should be explained clearly in the relevant registration or product interface.
Section 04
4. Pricing after the included period
This offer does not authorise an undisclosed charge. If Jobkar introduces a paid membership or other paid option, the price, billing period, scope, renewal terms and any relevant cancellation conditions should be presented clearly before the user chooses to activate that paid option. A paid plan should not be activated through an unclear or preselected agreement, and payment information should not be requested for a hidden fee.
Review the public Pricing page and any offer displayed in your account for current details. If there is a difference between a general marketing summary and a specific offer shown during registration, save the specific offer details and contact support before proceeding.
Section 05
5. Company profiles and job listings
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legality of content you submit about an organisation or role. Job listings must describe genuine opportunities and should accurately state the position, responsibilities, work mode, location, requirements and compensation details you choose to provide.
Do not publish misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive listings; collect application information for an unrelated purpose; demand payment from candidates through a misleading job post; or post confidential information you are not authorised to disclose. Jobkar may review, restrict or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or maintain service integrity.
Section 06
6. Employer and recruiter responsibilities
Use Workspace to organise legitimate recruitment activity. Evaluate candidates fairly and in line with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, consumer and privacy requirements. Limit access to applicant information to people who need it for the relevant hiring process, protect downloaded resumes and contact details, and avoid copying or redistributing information for unrelated purposes.
You remain responsible for hiring decisions, communications, interview arrangements, employment terms, background checks you choose to perform and any legal obligations associated with your recruitment process. Jobkar does not make a hiring decision for you or independently verify every statement supplied by an employer or candidate.
Section 07
7. Candidate and professional responsibilities
Provide truthful information in your professional profile, resume and applications. Do not claim qualifications, employment history, identity or permissions you do not have. Review information before submitting it to an employer or making it available through a profile or listing.
Use employer, recruiter and candidate contact details only for legitimate professional purposes. Do not harass, threaten, spam, discriminate against, deceive or unlawfully monitor another person through the service.
Section 08
8. Candidate data, applications and confidentiality
A person or organisation receiving an application, resume or message may use it for the hiring purpose for which it was shared, subject to its own legal obligations and the relevant product controls. You must not scrape, sell, bulk export, republish or misuse candidate information obtained through Workspace.
Do not place confidential third-party information, trade secrets, identity documents or other sensitive records into public job posts or profiles unless the feature specifically calls for it and you are authorised to do so. Public profiles and job listings may be visible to others; an application or direct message may be visible to the intended hiring recipients and the systems needed to deliver the feature.
Section 09
9. Messages, proposals and professional conduct
Use messaging, recruiter proposals, notifications and related workflows for relevant professional conversations. Do not use them to distribute spam, malware, fraudulent offers, unsolicited bulk promotions, threats or unlawful content. Respect a recipient’s reasonable expectations and follow applicable law when initiating or continuing contact.
The availability of messaging or communication actions may depend on account state, connection status, service availability and the feature rules. Jobkar does not guarantee that every message will be delivered, read or answered.
Section 10
10. Acceptable use and platform integrity
You must not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with service operation, reverse engineer or probe systems without permission, bypass security or role controls, transmit malware, use automated scraping or abuse, manipulate job or application records, or use Workspace for fraud, unlawful discrimination or illegal activity.
You must not use the platform in a way that unlawfully infringes another person’s privacy, intellectual property, confidentiality or other rights. Jobkar may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate steps, including restricting access or removing content, where reasonably needed to protect users or the service.
Section 11
11. Content, permissions and intellectual property
You retain responsibility for the content you upload or submit and confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to do so. You allow Jobkar to host, store, format, reproduce and display that content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate the Workspace features you choose to use.
Do not upload content that infringes intellectual property, breaches confidentiality, violates privacy rights or is otherwise unlawful. The platform, its design, software, branding and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws; these terms do not transfer ownership of them to you.
Section 12
12. Third-party services, security and availability
Some features depend on external authentication providers, hosting infrastructure, network connectivity, messaging services, analytics settings or other third-party systems. Those services may have their own terms, privacy notices and availability limits. External links are provided for convenience and do not imply that Jobkar controls the linked service.
We take reasonable steps intended to maintain service reliability and protect information, but no website or internet transmission is perfectly secure or continuously available. Maintenance, incidents, capacity limits, provider outages or product changes may temporarily affect some functionality.
Section 13
13. Account restrictions, suspension and closure
Jobkar may restrict or suspend access, remove a listing or investigate activity where there is a reasonable concern about fraud, security, harmful conduct, unlawful content, breach of these terms or a risk to other users or the service. Where appropriate and lawful, we may provide information about the restriction and the available support route.
You may stop using the service and request help with account-related matters through support. Some information may need to be retained after an account is closed for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution or legitimate recordkeeping, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Section 14
14. No guarantee of hiring outcomes
Workspace is a tool for organising recruitment. It does not guarantee job visibility, a minimum number of applications, candidate suitability, the accuracy of user-supplied claims, interviews, successful placement, employment or a particular business result. Employers and candidates remain responsible for their own evaluations and decisions.
Feature descriptions explain intended functionality and do not guarantee that every feature will be available in every account, role, region or moment. Use the current interface and help content for the actions that are actually available to you.
Section 15
15. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties that are not expressly stated in the terms or required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer or other rights, duties or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, Jobkar is not responsible for indirect losses caused by a user’s independent hiring decision, inaccurate user-submitted content, external service disruption or misuse of information by a recipient. This section does not remove responsibilities that applicable law requires Jobkar to retain.
Section 16
16. Updates and support
These terms may change when features, membership offers, security requirements or applicable law changes. The current version and its last-updated date appear on this page. Where a change requires specific notice, renewed consent or another user action, the relevant flow should explain it.
For questions about membership, account restrictions or these terms, use the public Support Centre. For an account-specific request, sign in and open a workspace support ticket where possible.
